Account information
We use your email, sign-in identity, name, department / agency, and guide selection to manage your account. Google sign-in supplies identity information for authentication, stored with your account through Supabase and Cloudflare. Session cookies and server records verify access.
Optional work city, state, and five-digit ZIP help administrators measure jurisdiction demand for future ordinance packs. No precise GPS location is required.
Billing and providers
Stripe processes payments and invoices. We store billing identifiers, plan/status, trial eligibility, and dates to verify access; full card details are held by Stripe, not our account database.
Cloudflare hosts the site and database; Supabase and Google provide sign-in, and Resend delivers account emails. These providers process information needed for their services and may keep operational and security logs, including IP addresses.
Saved on your device
Favorites, recent entries, preferences, saved guides, and city packs stay in your browser. Favorites and recent-entry lists are not uploaded or synced. Remove packs in Manage city downloads, clear recent entries in Favorites, or clear browser data to remove saved information. Offline guides require a fresh sign-in after 14 hours.
Usage and feedback
When enabled, usage reports count daily guide opens and city downloads per account; administrators see aggregate activity and jurisdiction totals. This feature does not record search terms, IP addresses, device identifiers, individual statute views, or reading text.
Submitted feedback can include your message, contact information, and page or search context. Administrators review it and manage access. Do not submit sensitive case information. Provider security logs are separate from usage reports.
Your choices
We retain records as needed for service, security, billing, and legal obligations. For access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions, email [email protected]. We may verify ownership and retain legally or security-required records. There is no automatic account-deletion button; cancel billing separately.
